The truck is a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD crew cab short bed 4x4. It has an 8.1L (496 big block) engine and an Allison Transmission. The truck has 49,000 miles on it but less than 6,000 miles since being lifted. The truck's front axle is the 9.25" IFS open differential equipped with 5.13 gears. The rear axle is the AAM 11.50, which is a 14 bolt full floating 11.5" axle. The rear axle is equipped with 5.13 gears also and limited slip positraction differential. The engine features functional ram-air, a Hypertech Power Programmer, a K&N cold air intake, and custom dual 3" mandrel bent cat-back exhaust with no muffler and only a Magnaflow x-pipe. Each 3" exhaust pipe y's into dual 4"x22" stainless steel Magnaflow tips. The lift is established from a 12-14" 3rd Coast Suspension kit along with a custom 4.5" body lift. The suspension kit features dual front shock hoops, heim joint steering, Cognito idler and pitman arm braces, and a custom-braced idler arm housing. There are 6 Bilstein 7100 series reservior shocks with custom reservoir mounts on the truck. The truck rides on 49/21-20LT Super Swamper Iroks on 20x12 KMC XD series Chrome Rockstars. The entire suspension system has been powdercoated silver metallic. The body is custom painted with Indigo Blue Metallic paint mixed with several parts/pint of Pearl to give it a more metallic look. The truck has a Keystone Restyling Good Hood twin scoop ram-air hood and painted to match grille with chrome Street Scene Speed Grille inserts, painted to match bumper cap with Street Scene Speed Grille inserts, and Cadillac Escalade exterior and interior door handles. The interior includes 7 - 7" TV monitors, including one in each visor, one in-dash flip out screen, one in the front of the center console, one in the rear of the center console, and one in each of the headrests. The headrests are Vizualogic headrests. The seats are covered with Katzkin premium light grey leather with blue suede inserts. The door panels also have blue suede inserts. Numerous interior pieces have been smoothed and painted to match the exterior of the truck. The interior also features a silver-faced Escalade gauge cluster. The entire stereo system is powered through Rockford Fosgate wiring. The 3 sets of RCAs to the 4 ga power wire to the 12 ga speaker wire ran to each speaker are all Rockford Fosgate. The system features all Diamond Audio speakers including 1 set of 6.5" components and 2 sets of 5.25" components, with one of these two sets including 6.5" midbass drivers making it a 3-way component set. The speakers are powered by a Diamond Audio D600.4 amp. There are two 12" Diamond Audio D6 subwoofers in custom built boxes beneath rear seats. The boxes are painted blue on the interior, while being wrapped in grey vinyl on the exterior, and topped with 1/2" lexan to allow for viewing of the subs. The two 12" subs are powered by a Diamond Audio D1500.1 amp. and a 25 farad Rockford Fosgate capacitor. The entire underside of the body has been coated with black undercoating. |
