As beautiful as it is fast, this 1972 Corvette Stingray is a non-numbers matching LS6. This body-off-frame restoration is very high performance, so fast, it’s frightening. The engine is built to LS6 specs with .030 over Speed Pro forged pistons, 11 to 1 compression. Balanced, blue printed, comp cams valve train, rectangular port, open chamber heads, stainless valves, Edelbrock performer RPM manifold, Holley 750, Hooker super comp headers, Brassworks flow kooler water pump, original Vette tach drive distributor with Unilite breakerless internals. KYB gas shocks. T.C.I. 3500 stall converter, gear drive reduction starter. New power steering components. Power brake with new master cylinder. Built turbo 400 trans. New U-joints in drive shaft, half shafts, all balanced. Stainless Steel brakes all around. All new hard lines and soft lines and all connectors. L-88 wiper delete hood. Fiberglass rear Daytona spring. 550 lb front springs. New urethane front suspension components, ball joints, extra large front and rear sway bars. New bearings all around. 2.5 inch aluminized exhaust with turbo mufflers. Not overly loud, but no question it’s brutal. Custom-made 4-core radiator, electric fan. 3.31 posi rear end, new cast steel rear end cover and spring mount. Complete repop interior red leather.
