1955 Chevrolet Wagon. This car is completely and accurately restored to stock BelAir specifications. The restoration was a 4 year process with attention paid to every detail. To restore this type of car to this level would cost at least 50K. Everything works!! All lights light up, all gauges work, even the clock ticks away. The car has the factory the “Power Pack” option which gives it a 4 bbl Rochester carburetor and dual exhaust . The “Power Pack” option raised the HP on the 265 8 cylinder by 20 horsepower. It has the rebuilt powerglide transmission. The car comes with the valid and restored large black plates front and rear.
It has upgraded but stock looking Protronics ignition. Starts right up and runs great. There are no rattles or squeaks. All glass is new. It drives and stops like it did in 55 when it rolled off the line in Fremont CA. It has a factory look cd/radio with a 10 disc cd changer mounted under the seat. Sound is from the original dashboard location.
This car is a real find for anyone in the market for this vintage. There are very few, if any, w4 door wagons done to this level. The car just won 2nd place at the prestigious La Jolla Motorcar show in January 08.
